“This Place Is a VIBE” — A Local Foodie Tries Our Cardamom Spanish Latte

Howard County food creator @nomtastickim stopped by on a whim — and left with a new favorite. Here’s what she ordered, and why the Cardamom Spanish Latte keeps winning people over.

When a local food creator walks in unannounced, orders off the menu like any other guest, and then posts about it — that’s the kind of review you can’t buy. In late April, Howard County foodie @nomtastickim shared her first visit to Cube Coffee with her followers, and we’ve been smiling about it ever since.

So… what’s a Cardamom Spanish Latte?

It’s the drink we’d hand you if you said “surprise me.” A Spanish latte is espresso with condensed milk — sweeter and silkier than a regular latte. Ours adds cardamom syrup we make in-house, the warm, fragrant spice you’ll find in coffee houses from Istanbul to Amman. The result tastes familiar and brand new at the same time, which is pretty much the whole idea behind Cube.

And the chocolate honey cake she paired it with? Layers of soft cake and light cream that have quietly become one of the most-mentioned items in our reviews.

Both are on the menu every day — the Cardamom Spanish Latte comes hot or iced, and the honey cake is in the pastry case while it lasts. Order ahead for pickup, or grab a seat and stay a while. That’s what the space is for.
